Last night, we went to a performance of "Deliver Us" by Ballet Magnificat. It was absolutely incredible. The story line tells about the captivity of Israel and how Moses became the key to their deliverance. It then shifts to the crucifixion of Jesus and how he became the deliverer for all mankind. The performance was beautiful and gripping, set to the music of "The Prince of Egypt". This is definitely a must see!
I also got to meet Keith Thibodeaux, whos wife started Ballet Magnificat. For those of you who are familiar with the "I Love Lucy" series (which I've never seen), Keith Thibodeaux was Little Ricky. He also played the drums for the christian group, David and the Giants. (I have a pic but am not able to upload it from my phone yet)
Needless to say it was a great evening! :)
