Leaves & Lights

I went driving through my extended neighborhood the other night. There are some pretty great displays of Christmas lights! Of course, you could never catch their real beauty on camera, but here are a few shots I took...

I have some pear trees right outside my office window. They are just turning a beautiful, deep orange. I had to share!

Decorate Your Tree!

Interesting Day!

It's interesting what all can happen in a day, although, this one's not really as weird as it seems!

First of all, my dining experience at P.F. Chang's included some great replicas of the Terra Cotta Warriors! If you've never heard they're story, take a moment to check this out: http://www.terracottawarriorexhibit.com/

Next stop: "Five Guys" - known for they're great burgers!

Then on to a "Princess Wishes" edition of Disney on Ice. Fun stuff! I've always wanted to skate like that!!!

New Orleans

This is the picture diary of my trip to New Orleans. I had a blast!

Me & Kassidy @ Par 3.

Me, Eloise & Sis. Moria @ Par 3.

The beautiful basket that was made for me. Someone really knows me! All of the goodies were put in a bright colored, cute sewing basket!

This stuff is delicious!

So we've all heard about Brad Pitt going to New Orleans and building some houses.Well they are all designed by architect students to be energy efficient and green. Some are a little out there and others I like. Here they are...
 I like this one.

A little too mod for me

Um.... I kind of like this one.

This one is definitely eccentric, but it's cool!

If you've never been to pinkberry, you have to try it! It's a delicious yogurt place where you can choose yogurt flavors: plain, strawberry, mango, chocolate, coconut, etc.
This is me and Jenna outside pinkberry.

This was my pinkberry concoction. It is half & half of the following. 1) Chocolate yogurt, little chocolate balls, white chocolate chips. 2) Mango yogurt, nuts, mango fruit. I loved it!!!

This is me and Jenna sitting inside at pinkberry. It's very cool, love the cool lighting.

Zoom in on this picture. It's Buddha Belly, but the services they offer are a little random: Bar & Grill, Game room, and Laundromat (what?).... ;)

The effects of Katrina are still evident. Excuse this man he got in the way of my picture. (I assure you he is not the object!) This Burger King sign is standing all alone..... no Burger King...

Me & Talia

The silver statue man. He stands really still like a statue and then moves either when people stop to stare or when you put money in his container. He is completely silver, even his eyelids!

Another silver man.

Some People are Way Too Addicted to Technology

If FarmVille has you bound....maybe you should read this!?!?!

Yes, I Have My Christmas Tree Up!

"Yes!" I'm enjoying it!

I'm celebrating early because waiting until December to spend a lot of time putting up the tree and  not getting to enjoy it is pointless! So I'm getting a head start! I love it because it's in my living room, but I can see it when I'm in my office too. It's great!

Hot Air Balloon Festival

Every October Natchez has a hot air balloon festival. It's really beautiful if you can catch the balloon glow on Friday night or see any of the balloons flying over the great Mississippi River. I saw more balloons this year than I've ever seen and of course I took pics!
Balloon taking off from a landing on the Natchez Bluffs heading over the Mississippi River.
Balloon inflating right beside us... can you see the fire?

Loved this balloon! Doesn't that bring out the patriot in you?!?!

Those hot air balloon pilots are dare-devils! This is what they do when they get close to the bridge! He's almost touching the water and I thought He was gonna try to go under it! At the last minute they'll start going up and barely make it over the bridge by the skin of their teeth! They were scaring me!

Then on my way to church Sunday morning they were flying over the other side of town...It was beautiful!
